Octopus Fact:  An octopus is a solitary animal, whose camoflauge game is on point!  

An octopus cannot only change colors to blend in with its surroundings,but certain species of the octopus can stretch their body to look like a dangerous animal.

Rhino Fact:  The Northern White Rhino is critically endangered.  The sub-species was declared extinct in the wild in 2008, and there are only five individuals remaining -

three in Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, one in captivity in San Diego Zoo and one in Dvur Kralove Zoo.  

Sadly the only female has passed.  The rhinos were killed off by poachers thinking their horn was a cure for many illnesses including cancer.  

The horn really only carries protien and is unable to cure anything.

Whale Fact:  A gray whale has baleen instead of teeth that help filter out sea creatures it sucks up from the sea floor.  

The baleen are the consistency of our fingernails.

Ram Fact:  Rams fight to decide who will be the dominant male in their group.  During the fight, the males face each other,

rear up on their back legs and crash their huge horns into each other.  Sometimes they charge as fast as 40mph.

30 x 40 acrylic paint. Grand Entrance.  Inspired by my love for exotic animals and neon.  This was the first painting I tried neon and obviously I fell in love.

 This piece will forever hold a special place in my heart.
